In February, Representatives Blazejewski, Morin, O'Brien, Mendez, and Maldonado introduced innovative legislation that would provide workers receiving WARN Act notice, information concerning their right to furnish a bid to purchase the employing business and regarding the formation of a worker's cooperative. The bill is H 5769 and is pending before the House Small Business Committee.
